On October 13th, the Berks Business Education Coalition’s 2026 Business and Education Summit brought together business leaders, educators, and community partners to explore how we can better prepare Berks County students for life after high school. Highlights included new research revealing student perspectives on career readiness, discussions on financial literacy and the evolving role of AI in the workplace, and recognition of 16 students who excelled in their internship experiences. Attendees especially valued the practical insights and opportunities to strengthen connections between business and education. The Summit reinforced BBEC’s commitment to turning conversation into action and building partnerships that help students prepare for the opportunities and challenges of tomorrow’s workforce.
